Psaltiras Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Nikos and Katerina Psaltiras produce this exceptional family olive oil in the village of Kampos Avias, at the northern end of the Mani peninsula, just south of Kalamata. Nestling under the hills of Zarnata to the south and the foothills of the Taygetus to the east, the area is peppered by streams and river beds. Flanked by steep, craggy hillsides, the terraced olive groves are cultivated using sustainable methods, gently harvested by hand and cold pressed the same day. The unfiltered olive oil is also bottled by hand and is characterised by its strong grassy, lightly fruity aromas and exceptional balance of flavour.

Psaltiras, Mani, Peloponnese
Psaltiras is a family company dedicated to the production of olive oil. It is based in the Southern Peloponnese, and was founded by Nicos Psaltiras and his wife Katerina. Their farm sits just south of Kalamata, in Kambos Avias, a small village in the middle of the beautiful Taygetos mountains. The unique characteristics of the natural world in this region contribute to the excellent quality of the oil that is made there, as do the farmers’ gentle and respectful harvest methods. Psaltiras’ extra virgin olive oil comes from the koroneiki olive variety, which creates a fruity-mild and aromatic oil with an aromas of fresh-cut grass.
